Abstract | This research presents a DSP demonstration package which can be used to introduce electrical engineers and students to the principles and applications of digital signal processing (DSP) using the TMS320C30 a state-of-the-art digital signal processor designed by Texas Instruments. Experiments range from the development of the digital signal processing system, through finite impulse and infinite impulse response filters, to fast Fourier transform and an elementary spectrum analyzer based on the TMS320C30 evaluation module. Solved programming examples using both C and the TMS320C30 assembly code we included clarify concepts. |
