AbstractOnline shopping and Online transportation quickly become popular in recent years. This research has written under the behavior of shopping trips via online and behavior of shopping trips by using online transportation modes in Sri Lanka. This study was limited only for shopping trips. In order to collect data, a survey was conducted in Colombo city, Sri Lanka. This research has examined the effect of age, gender, occupation, educational level and monthly income for each and every factor under online shopping and online transportation. Based on the mean value method critical factors which affecting online shopping behavior and online transportation behavior were analyzed. Independent sample t-test, Anova test and Post hoc test were carried out to find whether there is significant difference among groups of each and every category for each factor. Finding indicates that, safety, security and privacy have more effect on online shopping and online transportation behavior. Furthermore, it reveals that, more. information, description and wide selection of goods have more impact to get customers attraction toward online shopping. Moreover, a relationship between online shopping and online transportation has found. The implications of the findings of online shopping and online transportation are discussed.
