AbstractEconomy in Sri Lanka number of vehicles imported per year increased because of that num- ber of vehicle crashes were increased, Due to this research In nearly 2004 new traffic laws and introduced to Sri Lanka reason of that traffic accident were decreased after 2010 again traffic crashes were increased and number of people die also increased. This study was there- fore undertaken to investigate drink and driving and factors that influence drink and driving in SriLanka. A questionnaire study was carried out from pettah to rajagiria in Colombo district in Sri- Lanka, and try to find the influence factors affecting to drink and driving among these factors Sex, Age, Education, Occupation, Time Period of travel, Type of vehicle, Monthly income, and Seat belt install, Age of Vehicle, Attitude of drink driving. Gender, Monthly In- come, Type of Vehicle,Age of Vehicle, Police are Strict With the Using alcohol while driving All of these variables were analysed and found to be strongly influencing factors with drink and driving.
