Abstract | In this project, a method for the best color space selection (among RGB, HSV, CIE XYZ, CIE L*a*b* and YCbCr color spaces) for lips detection using active contour is executed. The literature of this project describes the algorithms for conversions from RGB color space to the other color spaces and depictions of these color spaces. Besides, a set-up for the acquisition of face images to be used in a 3D liked display is developed. MATLAB programming is mainly used to simulate realistic digital lipstick application on the best results of detection. |
