AbstractAgriculture technology is developing from time to time with swift rate and upcoming with new methods and theories. Industrial engineering technology is developed and fusion with the advanced crop modification and can also change the traditional method. In this project, the robot can drive autonomously and carried out the ploughing, seeding and spraying tasks instead of human operation. Moreover, robot will locomote in zig-zag pattern in order to optimize the workflow of the robot. Development of this project can not only reduce time consumption but also save energy consumption as well and no human supervision is needed. There are two major tasks of this robot. First task is to travel in zig-zag pattern. Secondly, the robot will do ploughing, seeding and spraying tasks. The usage of encoder and other sensors for the autonomous driving. This robot is prototype and the size is significantly smaller than the real field robots. This project main purpose is to reduce the human operation time and supervision will be the part if the development of agricultural robots in future. The usage of encoders and gyro sensor are implied in this project.
