Abstract | The project is proposed to control a small robotic car through voice commands. To be able to control the robot, smartphone requires to have an Android operating system. A microcontroller Arduino UNO is employed together with a Bluetooth module interfaced for sensing the signals transferred by Android smartphone. When the Android application sends the serial communication data, the Bluetooth receiver which is interfaced to the microcontroller, will receive those datas. Arduino code is written to drive the two motors through a motor driver following the exact commands which Android device delivers. The android device can send eleven voice commands to move the vehicle go straight and go back with three different speeds, turn left and right to two different degrees, and to stop the robot. |
