AbstractInverted pendulum is a classic problem for testing and learning balancing control system especially PID controller. This report contain designing ,controlling and balancing a normal stick on the planar surface by using concept of inverted pendulum. Rotary encoder will be used as the feedback method for this project with the microcontroller and motors. This project will be performed with 2 encoder, one for the X axis movement and another for the Y axis. Balancing a small ordinary stick requires rapid feedback control on the order of milliseconds. One of the main objective of this project is to adjust the weight and length of the stick to perform smoothly with the components that is used.
