Abstract | Unmanned aerial vehicles, drones, are quite useful these days because of their mobility and compact design. There are various types of drones in different shapes for various purposes. However, due to limited resources and design variation, most drones require protection from the weather and secure storage. This report presents the design, implementation, and empiri cal evaluation of a prototype drone base able to protect a drone from external damage. I also explore the feasibility of wireless charging technology in the drone base. |
