AbstractNowadays, the computerized numerical control (CNC) machines are using widely in various manufacturing industries which involves the use of computer to control the machine tools. The CNC machines are able to control by the programming language and to perform the tasks. The CNC machines can offer the great accuracy, less time consuming and production way, which are beyond the human limitations. The aim of the this project is to develop a 5-axis CNC machine demonstrator, which has two translatory axis(X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis) and two rotary axis (A-axis, B-axis). This prototype machine is based on MAHO 5-axis 600E machine. In this prototype machine, five stepper motors and five stepper motor driver were used to drive the axis movement. Two Arduino UNO boards are used to control the axis movement. The other purpose of this project is to use in classrooms as an educational aid.
