AbstractThe multi carrier transmission techniques have been the most beguiling one for the develop- ment of wireless communication systems like 4G, Long Term evolution and now the succes- sor 5G. The comparative analysis of FBMC and OFDM has been performed based on Power Spectral Densities (PSD), sub channels, computational complexity and prototype filter using MATLAB.
