Abstract | This report is about a project of design and development of a shape sorting delta robot. This robot has 3 degrees of freedom (3 dof). Delta robot has three arms which are fixed to base of the structure. Three arms are control by Arduino Due controller. This robot can identify the three shapes (triangle, square, and circle). Shapes are detecting by Python with using OpenCV library. The live video capture by Logitech C310 web camera. Video feed send to the python software from which it is analyzed. By using serial communication, shape detecting data is transferred to the Arduino program. The ultimate goal is to identify the given objects and sort them by properly maneuvering the delta arm. |
