Abstract | Development of recorder playing robot is an interesting project is in music industry. Out of the different Musical instruments Recorder is a special instrument which are played by using air pressure. There are some limitations that can be seen in this project compared to a recorder playing specialist. The main limitation was that the sudden changes in air pressure. The robots built in this project were initially planned to have a leverage system to cover up tone holes to get the tone, but it was not a successful mechanism to achieve the goal at the end of the project. Even though the planned mechanism was not very successful the final mechanism that has been designed was able to achieve the scope successfully. To gain inputs and the whole system was mechanized using electrical actuators such as push - pull solenoids and DC motor. |
