Abstract | Nowadays entertainment robots have highly regarded and now it is the time to apply tech- nology to the entertainment side. So, in this study a piano playing robot was developed. It was controlled by a rnicrocontroller, motors electromagnetic solenoids and screw mecha- nism. Two beautiful melodies were played by the robot successfully with chords and position control was used to move to different position according to the program. Electromagnetic solenoid pistons were used for key pressing. Robot is consisted with two linear slider arms which were moved simultaneously. |
