AbstractThis report is about an automatic underground vertical rotary car parking system for metropoli- tan cities. Many major cities are facing the traffic jams problems and the insufficient car park- ing problem because of expensive land prices and higher population. The aim of this project is to design and develop an automatic underground rotary car parking system that will reduce the parking space and securer for residential car. This system contains 6 pallets for 6 cars space with RFID input system and it can operate automatically to rotate the desire position. This system is used one DC motor. DC motor rotates the pallets to get the desired position with specific speed control. The comparisons of this parking system and precedents parking systems are included. The experimental results based on time delay are also described.
