Abstract | A sensitive electrochemical sensor for tetracycline detection was developed using ease screen printed electrode changed with electropolymerized Poly -1, 5- diaminonapthalene. To enhance the sensitivity of the electrode, Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (SDS) doping was investigated. The electrochemical behavior of the modified electrode was characterized by the differential pulse voltammetry. The results determined that the un-doped electrode had these performances with accumulation time 180 s, SDS concentration was 0.8 mM and the pH was 1.47. For SDS doped electrode, the SDS concentration was 0.6 mM and the pH was 2.8.the calibration curve had a linear performance range from 1μM to 10μ Mm and the sensitivity was 0.5 μA/μM of tetracycline. From interference performance results shown that the sensor has the negligible effect due to the interference. |
