Abstract | The study is made especially on analyzing the friction damper with cladding frame accord- ing to seven earthquake characteristics. The main location of these seven earthquakes is regarded as Los Angeles, California. The study is emphasized by the performance of 10 storied 6 bays building which adding precast concrete panel, cladding and friction damper frames and without friction damper. As seismic events are un-predictable, it is important to design buildings to have maximum performance when earthquake comes. Earthquake resisting design becomes popular because it can decrease economic loss and life hazards. |
