AbstractElectromechanical robotic arms have lots of positive traits like lifting heavy loads or performing tasks with high precision, the challenge these days is programming the movements into a robotic arm as most of the existing methods prove to be time consuming and require and expertise at the controls, this project aims to develop a unit which could reduce the difficulties involved in conventional programing, the unit consists of a control box, an ergonomically shaped sensor unit and an electromechanical arm, the control box receive movement data from the human arm and generate corresponding motor control signals for the electromechanical arm, furthermore it also memorize movements and redoes the movement sequence by user input (push button) or by a trigger signal generated by a PLC.
