Abstract | This documentation presents the development of an indoor parking lot monitoring system using a deep learning algorithm based on convolutional neural networks. This system is supposed to help drivers find vacant parking space in a crowded parking lot so that they can navigate easily which helps to reduce time taken to search for parking spaces and reduce the fuel consumption. Other than managing the parking lot, authorities will be able to do surveillance on the parking lot using the same system. Therefore this can be considered as a system capable of taking care of two problems at the same time which would otherwise require two separate systems. |
