Abstract | Half-cell potential measurement is an electrochemical measurement make to know the severity of corrosion in reinforced concrete. It is very simple and inexpensive technique. This paper explains how much area of steel bar affected by corrosion with time by testing tensile test before and after corrosion of steel bar in order to make sure to calculate the reduced area of steel bar. After that, the concrete samples with various degree of corroded steels have been performed the half-cell potential to get the percentage of corrosion specifically by length of the bar. |
