Abstract | Viscous fluid dampers are extensively spent as damping things and dissipated destruction energy added to the structure by an earthquake. Several types of VFD’s are possible to increase the strength of structural buildings in the earthquake area. This is usually included the parts of bracing in a concentrically braced frame, that capture the load parts. In this study, the main idea is to research the effect of bracing location on six bays with different coefficients into a diagonally braced frame. New comparisons are to do with the bracing location which is the best result and the types of Chevron bracing. When C value rises the story drift and displacement are reduced but the story shear increased. Comparison with Chevron demonstrates that system is clearly to show the reduction of the story parameters. Accordingly, ground motion records carried out analysis in the ETABS. |
