AbstractSoap is a material consumed by every individual in their everyday life. Millions of soaps are produced everyday and millions get washed away with water polluting and causing damages to the environment. This Life Cycle Assessment is focused on analyzing the life cycle of liquid and solid soap from cradle to grave, and also to analyze the environmental impacts caused during these life cycles. The life cycles consist of Raw Materials, Manufacturing, Packaging, Distribution and End of Life stages. The two life cycles will be compared to decide which soap type has the least impact on the environment. More over this project will interpret on the most contributed materials and the processes. This project will also provide recommendations for better improvements to the life cycle of liquid and solid soap.
