Abstract | Development and advancement of the computer science and technology has bought many advanced training equipments to the sport's field. Today in an every sport, machines are used to train and conduct practise sessions for the players. This has reduced the injury rate ,of players while they are practising and reduce the expenses for training instructors also. The Automated goal keeping robot project is an attempt to introduce a goal keeping robot for train players in training sessions. This project utilizes the image processing techniques to detect the approaching ball and A PID controlled DC motor is used to drive the interceptor along the sliding unit to block the approaching ball. |
