Abstract | Through the development of science and technology, the safety and defense of the commu- nity has become an important factor. The development of surveillance systems has empha- sized the need of a gun security system that is accurate and hard to trick. Thus the primary aim of this project is to distinguish user defined objects as friendly or foe objects and shoot at the foe objects accurately and obtain feedback information about the shots fired. The project is equipped with a paintball marker and uses an image processing algorithm to detect the objects whereas the movements of the turret system is controlled through PID controlled DC motors. |
