Abstract | The interest and popularity for sports such as cricket and baseball has increased worldwide in the recent past. Due to this reason, today most of these sports are using the robotic mechanisms to train the players and improve the skills of them. This has resulted in the development of different robotic systems such as the Ball pitching Robot. The main aim of the project is to throw a ball to a given distance accurately by using mechanical and electrical methods. This project is equiped with a PID controlled DC motor and the use of a linear actuator system. Also, several new mechanisms are used in the mechanical design to make the system funtioning accurately. This prototype can be further developed and used in the actual cricket fields. |
