Abstract | In recent years, the bubble technologies have drawn a great attention due to their wide application in many fields of science and technology. Mainly the application of micro and Nano bubbles. Application air bubbles in water-treatment technology has been recently gaining more attention. This study conducted in areas of air bubbles with a special emphasis on water treatment. Also covered the areas of sludge accumulation in fish tanks and sludge removing treatments with the air bubbles. This sludge removal system was developed in order to determine the sludge removal rates with the use of different types of bubbles such as macro bubbles, micro bubbles and Nano bubbles. Also to determine the effects of bubble sizes on the system. In this research a stepwise approach was taken after while tending to general to particular issues of MB and NB applications in water treatment technologies. In this research different types of bubbles are defined and a range of bubble sizes are proposed for each type of bubbles based on the common properties presented in different studies. The bubble generation system designed in this research were used to summarize to discuss the major bubble characterization parameters, existing measurement techniques and characterization techniques. The focus of this review is to summarize the current status of MB and NB in water treatment systems or the application of bubble systems for sludge removal in aquariums and to address the future application scope of this technology in the field |
