| Abstract | Thailand is a country with full of Tourist attractions. While Bangkok has been still dominating as a key shopping destination among middle income Asian tourists mainly as a country Thailand has immense attractions to offer such as nice beaches, beautiful river and lake sides, animal parks, safari tours to jungles, voyage tours between Islands, Theme parks, leisure centers, rare mountains and water falls and many more. As a country, Thailand, has fairly mixed cultural and religious environment and Thai citizens attitudes and behavior too quite flexible to attract different other nationalities and religious tourist. So as a general concept Tourists from different nationalities, cultural and religious attitudes can easily associate well with Thai people. Considering so many positive factors even Government of Thailand has identified the potential they have to develop Tourism industry mainly as a major contributor to their National economy. Accordingly, any research and / or study to enhance the Tourism Industry is highly commendable to all concerned parties. Despite the fact that Thailand is a busy city with lot of traffic jams at peak hours, majority of tourists visiting Thailand visits the city and spend as conveniently before moving to other destinations. One of the major concerns one can identify in the city limits is further improvements to Public Transportation system. Mainly when considered in-coming Tourists they shall be offered better public transportation system to encourage travelling. In-coming tourists first requirement is to travel from Airport to city and/or other destinations quite effectively and efficiently. From the first inception, their expectation on comfort level, safety, security, traveling charges, time to reach destination, travel time, loss time etc. are matters of their concerns. Effective and efficient Public transportation system will have a huge impact to in-coming tourists satisfactions in travelling. When I plan my research all the above factors came to my mind and accordingly I have done my best. |
