Abstract | Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) uses Radio Frequency (RF) to transmit data to the receiver devices. Radio Frequency bandwidth is starting to run out because modern communication technologies and devices are crowding toward the same frequency bandwidth. Therefore, Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) has become a favour because Li-Fi operates in larger optical bandwidth which is different from radio frequency bandwidth. This project is established on low cost optical wireless communication between two LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) being controlled by arduino pro mini. Both the emitter and receiver are using LED. Moreover, both the transmission of encoded data and receiving of data to be decoded are also performed by the arduino pro mini. The frequency and the distance of data transfer depend on the power of LEDs. |
