AbstractDrunk Driving accidents happen throughout the world, leaving many people injured and killed. An estimated 1.2 million people and 50 million people injured worldwide cause of road accidents each year. Statistics reveal that a child is killed every 3 minutes on the worlds roads, it is estimated low and middle income countries road deaths happen more than 80 of all deaths. In 2020 it is expected that according to some estimates. There are lots of reason for these accidents. Alcohol driving are one type of accident which can be seen on the road. As a result drunken drivers playa major role in most of the acci- dents which increases the number of death passengers as well as the drivers. The worst part of this is some may ended up their lives with abnormalities though they born as normal. The comments, knowledge and the influencing factors of using alcohol driving in Sri Lanka will be studied in this research. So from this study mainly identify most appropriate factors for reducing the drunk driving in Sri Lanka. Finally propose recommended ways to reduce the drunk driving in Sri Lanka.
