AbstractQuality is a word that is often said and found a lot in text book, but to· make it realistic in construction site is very difficult because of unique characteristics of the construction and human factors. Though many researches have stated that quality improvement will increase the productivity, this concept is rarely paid attentio n by contractors, and sometimes, owner may more care about cost and time than quality. Not surprisingly, if the management level is not concerned much about quality, how much the workers in developing countries who work for the money to save their lives and families will be concerned about the quality of the job. The difficulties of the quality implementation in Thai construction will be investigated in this study, especially about a flow of the implementation from owner, consultant, and contractor concerned with project manager, engineer, foreman, and workers. Consideration about Thai's human factors will be added to explained the difficulties.
