AbstractThis study covers the analysis of the existing manual document processing system and proposes the system design for computerized document processing system. The new system is designed to meet the requirements of field division in BHUD. BHUD is one of the largest provincial government agencies responsible for public housing construction and urban development work. There are nine construction field offices in the BHUD. Each field office also has several field division. Field divisions are responsible for construction work of projects. They supervise the contractors to perform the contracts. Based on the information requirements for owner construction management, the proposed system will process construction records and produce reports to support decision making. The data structure of all files is implemented by using the PC based Microsoft Access 7. 0 software.
