Abstract | Today most of the sports utilize robotics and modern technology for example, table tennis playing robot and ball shooting robot. These robots are mainly used to develop the accuracy and precision skills of the players with a higher efficiency. furthermore these robots reduce the time wasted by humans doing the same tasks. This project proposes a developed system which uses digital image processing to detect the ball and highly refined PID control algo- rithm to control the motion of the actuators in order make sure that the ball catching is done to the maximum accuracy possible. in order to increase accuracy and overcome obstacles many mechanical and digital methods were used. If developed this robot could be used in a wide variety of sports for different purposes accordingly |
