Abstract | Now it is the time to apply technology to the beneficial of sports. Most of the popular and advanced sports like cricket, football, etc. are applied with the modern technology to train the players and umpire the matches. But still the small sports like table games should be developed with new technologies. So the main projection of this project is to introduce new technology to the Air Hockey game and use as a training robot for the players. The robot is consisted with robot arm with two degrees of freedom which could be moved along x and y axis. Arm is controlled by DC motors programed with PID control system. The puck identification is done by a machine vision system. |
