Abstract | In present, world has become more dependent on technologies. Proper and efficient storage and retrieval systems are becoming more essential in most industries. It is obvious that the efficiency of storing and retrieval process are very low when humans are involving. Be- cause, humans are always tends to make mistakes. On the other hand, replacing these types of mundane and repetitive processes by automation enhances the effectiveness and well as ef- ficiency. Henceforth, the primary objective on which this project focuses on is to develop an Automated Storage and Retrieval system with a automated sorting system including database and GUI interface. The system have the ability to store and retrieve an item in the given in- put slot automatically according to the users command. In addition to that, it included a GUI interface with a database which shows the deals of storing and retrieval process. In conclu- sion, my intention is to develop this machine which could be implemented into the industrial environment for applications such as storing or retrieving objects (preferably light weight) in a factory’s production line. |
