AbstractIn the future, high data rate up to 1 Gbitls is expected from wireless communication. The only solution or the key technology for this is Multiple Input and Multiple Output (MIMO), which is required a high efficiency with array gain, spatial diversity or spatial multiplexing gain. Multi-User (MU) MIMO has a become the most important technique in the modem wireless communication. MIMO technique which each user is having one or more than an antenna has more beam gain with multi-user diversity. Even though MU-MIMO gives a considerable beam gain, they often prove inadequate to cope with intercell interference and can only offer poor cell edge performance. In this project, it is mainly target on some methods of interference cancellation and noise reduction, Zero Forcing Bearnforming (ZFBF) and Minimum Mean-Square Error (MMSE) and their performance Bit Error Rate (BER) with Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), also on narrowing the beam width and showing how the in- terference become less by increasing the number of transmitter antennas and users in a 3-D plot. Also since this project is done in three dimensional, the beam gain for each direction of angle (considering azimuth and elevation angles) for Uniform Linar Array (ULA) and Uniform Planar Array (UPA) antenna structures have been implemented. In the last chapter of this project, the results have been shown in order to full fill the requirements.
