AbstractIn the past recent times Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) Architecture has evolved to become a new wireless technology prototype. By conducting this project it is intended to compare Analog, Digital and hybrid beam forming techniques for three dimensional MIMO with the aspect of performance mainly using MATLAB simulation platform via graphical and statistical means. The spectral efciency verses SINR is analyzed for different situations. In the coming future times wireless communication is expected to grow up to 1Gb/s speeds with high latency. The better approach for this is to use MIMO with enhanced array gains, multiplexing aspects and spatial diversity performance. Multi User MIMO is been deployed with many users having multiple antennas with better beam gains and multiple user diversity. But the main issue is the overcoming of the inter user interference which in turn results in lower performance. In this project, it is key targeted on analysis of the spectral efciency in Analog, Digital and Hybrid beam forming at different conditions for three-dimensional MIMO in MU scenarios and variable number of antenna at base station.
