AbstractZoning telecommunication infrastructure has been widely recognized as a p1nnned procurement for the eighth economic and social development plan for Thailand. An enormous increasing demand of telephone subscribers, existence tariff complexity may be concerned as a important factors by both government agency and telecommunication operators. Existing tariff structure is the one of importance economical parameter to impede the telephone service expansion and zoning telecommunication infrastructure in Thailand. In this research, drawback and limitation of existing tariff structure in Thailand are studied. A new tariff structure is proposed to reduce complexity and lower the price. Simplified analysis is performed indicating that even though loss of revenue by introducing the new tariff structure, the operators are still financially operable.
