Abstract | A study was undertaken to devise strategic alternatives for a company to compete in the market place. The company selected for the study was chosen from the optical industry in Thailand inspired by the growing lens market . Considerable development has taken place in the industry and one finds a number of new entrants trying to lure the customers with new products and attractive offers. The study examines the industry environment, profile of key players and their activities, develops strategy and action plan for the company chosen for analysis and recommends possible ways to complete. |
