AbstractThe main objective of carrying out this research study was to find out the customer perceptions on quality of packaging produced by Packages Limited. In-depth interviews were conducted with the personnel at Packages Limited, Nestle, Rafhan Maize, Lever Brothers and National Foods. In the first phase interviews were conducted at Packages to find out about the quality system and implementation of ISO 9001. In the second phase interviews were conducted in Nestle, Rafhan Maize, Lever Brothers and National Foods to find out about quality perceptions and experiences with packaging supplied by Packages. Finally, the report was compiled and recommendations made to improve quality aspects.
