Abstract | The Electric power supply in Cambodia at present is a burden problem because of lacking of power plants within capacity against to the requirement that is recently is increased quickly due to the Economical reform Policy from the central planning economy to the free market economy, particularly in the cities or town where the economy activities spread over. Among those Sihanoukville is one of the important cities which the economy activities have recently developed in the rapid pace. Meanwhile the electric power demand is increased quickly, otherwise the existing power supply resource is become poorer condition both generation and distribution. However, in order to resolve the problem of shortage of power supply the new resource of power supply is the first priority to be considered by installed a power plant with sufficient capacity to the demand in the local area or other resource outside the region by transferring to the city. |
