Abstract | In the construction industry nowadays, cellular lightweight concrete (CLC) is one of the most popular materials which are being used. For this research, CLC used consist of foam and water-cement (w/c) and has the density around 500 kg/m3 .This research was carried out to determine the behavior of permeability of Light Weight Cementitious Material (cellular lightweight concrete). In order to analyze the variation of the permeability related to the different density of the samples, nine different samples with different density values were tested in this project with five different hydraulic gradient values on each sample. Obtained results confirmed that the sample with lower density have the higher permeability value as the sample with higher density got lower permeability value. |
