AbstractThe electrical resistivity measurements are commonly used to solve numerous applications of hydrogeological and environmental studies as well as engineering problems. Few authors have interested on the effect of size and shapes of the concrete core samples related to electrical resistivity measurements. Therefore, the objective of this research is to find the corrections for resistivity measurements on cylindrical core samples using 3D FEM simulation software. Effect of the finite size and shape of the core sample were evaluated by the construction of the correction chart for different core lengths, diameters and electrode spacing to calibrate their impact on electrical resistivity measurements on core samples.
