AbstractLand properties are different from place to place especially in slope area. Different crops also require different land conditions, so a piece of land can be highly suitable for one crop but unsuitable for another crop. Because of the failure to consider the relationship between characteristics of land and usage, there have been many instances of damage to the natural resources in Central Highland of Vietnam. This research is aimed at applying Geographical Information System (GIS) to identify suitable land for coffee and rubber crops. The linear model has been used in the study taking into the model six parameters soil depth, soil texture, soil drainage soil fertility, soil pH and slope.
