AbstractConceptual Graphs (CGs) are a kind of knowledge representation system that have been widely used in many domains of application. To represent imprecise knowledge, CGs have to be added a capability to handle fuzzy propositions. The modified system is known as Fuzzy Conceptual Graphs (FCGs). This study concerns a developing towards the theory of FCG programs. The syntax, semantics and the inference system for the programs are formally given. The syntax is stated in general form of CGs with fuzziness attached to their concept nodes. The declarative semantics are given employing the GLP theory (theory of generalized logic programs) in very general form of explanation. Then, the procedural semantics for the programs is introduced using an inference system which is proved to be theoretically sound and complete.
