Abstract | Understanding financial literacy, financial behavior, financial attitude among Thai people in Thailand. In order to understand the levels of financial concepts. In addition, financial literacy is significant for studying effective, and there are three components which are financial knowledge, financial attitude, and financial behavior. Moreover, the author finds that the level of financial literacy among young people quite low, particularly young women who study as a teenager. Furthermore, the author makes the questionnaire to measure people’s financial literacy level by using OECD guideline questions because there are many researchers use its guideline to measure in their thesis and research study. Furthermore, the author provides the descriptive statistics for clarification of each independent variables such gender, age, education level, occupation, marital status, and income to interpret with its financial components, and also uses the preliminary tests between independent variables and its components. Also, the author uses the two proportion z-tests to analyze the data and understand the relationships between demographic, its components, and the consequences of financial concepts. Also, to understand the significant level within accept or reject the null hypothesis. Our results show that men are literate on financial literacy and financial behavior than women. However, men are as high scores as women on financial attitude. |
