Abstract | The evaluation of soil fertility to determine the grade of soil fertility is very important for recommending optimum quantity of fertilizer to be applied in practice. Designing systems for soil fertility determination is very complicated and involves many facts to take into account. We report here an implementation of a classification system based on the Neural Networks. The genetic algorithm is used to search optimized back propagation network and the system is trained using back propagation algorithm. The experiments carried out on paddy field of Zhejiang province of China show a successfully soil fertility determination thus leading to the advanced scientific method of determination soil fertility. |
