| Abstract | Industrial zone is one of the main driving forces of developing countries and the whole world. To find method to get a better development of industrial zones in developing countries, this study uses governance as analysis perspective, uses Rayong industrial zone as a case study. Under literature method, this study establishes an industrial zone governance analysis system. Two stakeholders are considered into this system, which are entrepreneur and labor. Seven governance indexes are used and they are participation, transparency, efficiency, effectiveness, accountability, sustainability and service satisfaction. Two versions of questionnaire are designed and distributed. One field survey is also been conducted in Rayong Industrial Zone. After comprehensive research and analysis, the strengths and weaknesses of Rayong Industrial Zone governance performance have been found and realistic and practical improvement suggestions are also been raised. This study will provide a little bit more sources for the domain of governance and industrial zone. Its significant value is to provide a comprehensive analysis method for industrial zone governance. |
