Abstract | A general purpose graphic module was developed to provide graphic capabilities for the Three Dimensional Building Analysis - XET ABS package. This new module was written in Microsoft FORTRAN, Version 5.1. The program is capable to display the initial configuration and the deformed shape of the structure in any direction. Parallel projections as well as Perspective projections are also possible. In 2D structures initial configuration, deformed configuration and internal stress diagrams, i.e. bending moment, shear force and axial force, can be displayed. Graphic module can be used independently or linked with Finite Element Analysis packages with slight modifications to utilize its graphic capabilities. |
