Abstract | This study was undertaken for the technological assessment of a cement company in Pakistan. The main purpose was to identify the problems and make suggestions for improvement on the basis of lessons learned from two Danish companies which are market leaders in the same industry. For this purpose, a framework consisting of a classification scheme and an assessment procedure was developed. This was applied to "D.G Khan Cement Company" to identify the problem areas. The study of two other Danish companies assisted in suggesting improvements in those problem areas. The study results also cover the overall functions as well as some general problems. |
