Abstract | Now a day manufacturing technique is regarded as a competitive weapons to achieve success in the competitive market. To enhance the profit, one manufacturing company face the challenge of the satisfaction of customer demand with low cost/high quality product at proper time of delivery. Profitability can be achieved by improving quality, reducing Lead time and inventory. MRPll software is an excellent tool in manufacturing management with its excellent planning capabilities. It tries to allocate for optimum achievement of the resources of materials, facilities and human resources. But due to the high capital risk involvement for the implementation of MRPll system, A suitability analysis can gives a good picture of future improvement via MRPII prior to its implementation. Master Production Schedule(MPS) documents the overall manufacturing program of a company. A systematic approach of that should inevitable to get an optimize/efficient MPS one. A PC based MPS generation program has developed in this research to provide a guideline for MPS calculation for the company, which helps the company to use MRPII in their system more efficiently. Research study is based on field data collected from fact01y which using traditional system of manufacturing. Then comparing the improvement via theoretical introduction of MRPII system in two cases against actual situation. Laboratory work has done with the help of a MRPII software "MICRO MAX R.1.3 version". |
