| Abstract | Production planning and control in many manufacturing fields nowadays is expected to
have quick response both in customer requirements and manufacturing interchange. The lowest
operational level of production planning, shop-floor planning, tends to be the flexible and
interactive one. Traditional approach that bases on centralized system ; heuristic methods,
mathematical programming, can not come up with this requirement. This study concerns with the
development and implementation of new approach bases on decentralized system. Leitstand, the
computer-based decision suppo1t system, is developed for production planning in paper
manufacturing providing flexible and interactive schedule. With its output through Gantt chart
make it be the user-friendly system. |
